And as Friday passed my first week at my new collage comes to a close and how was it you must say? well.... this will most likely be the hardest thing ive ever done in my life. not necessarily a bad thing but to do what i need to do with all 5 of my classes Ill need to spend nearly all my free time doing homework... yeah... lifes going to get a bit more dull and stressful...

but to show you an example of all the homework i was assigned

first class reading and writing 2: read first 14 chapters of the first book I need for class, with enough information to be able to discuss the book in class, all the while coming up with the theses statement for the final paper for class that I will be doing the entire semester. and to get a library card

second class 3D studies: hunt down an object in a museum, sketch it, find its history, then do an oral presentation about the object using very advanced art terms I barley know. he then assigns you 3 words based off your presentation to then base a sculpture off of for next class, mine where Biomorphic, Illusion, and precious. as well as needing to read the safy information on how to deal with wood, as well as reading pages from the assigned reading that will cost 75 dollars, that the student store doesn't have. while spending 80 dollars on tools and equipment I need to get by next class

third class art history and design: read the assigned reading and prepare for next class and the quiz for next class (her syllabus says i will be having 4-6 hours of homework a week)

fourth class 2D studies: create a 4 in by 4 inch square of paper, put a grid of 1/2 inches on the paper, then using circles that fill the squares, make designs based off 15 vaguely described art terms.

fifth Media 1 : take 75 pictures with an advanced camera, 25 on the street, 25 in my home, and 25 somewhere random. then take the pictures put them on 4 by 5 contact sheets in adobe bridge and print them for next class using the BS printing system of the school.

Im not saying this is the hardest layout in history. I know others have it worse, but this is definitely new to me and will be hard. so I apologize in advance for less art being posted, but I need to try my best. I could probably post some art if you guys don't mine me just taking a picture of the sketches
