African animals are growing alot in popularity i've noticed lately. Lots of hyenas and wild dogs.
As for dog breeds, I definitely have to agree with Gsheps and huskies, and corgis seem to be gaining popularity too.
For pokemon i'd have to say any of the foxes will be popular (vulpix, ninetails, and now fennekin) and any of the eeveelutions would be a good idea too :3

For Pokemon, draw the Eeveelutions - people go NUTS for them ;P
Also the new Gen 6 starters would probably get some attention!

For animal species, wolves and foxes are obviously always super popular! I think tigers, wild dogs, lynxes, huskies, and maybe Dobermans are pretty popular?

I vote as well for Huskies and GSDs. Granted I am biased.

Cats? Don't know much about cats, but you probably can't go wrong with cats in crazy situations.

Pokemon? I know less about this than cats. Sorry.
