...has probably been the best week of my life...OR one of them at least.

For starters, I had a job interview on the 21st of January for a zoo in the suburbs. From the city limits of Chicago to the suburbs, it took me 90 minutes to get there and four buses. It didn't help that it was only about three degrees outside, so I probably died somewhere at least once. :P

A few hours later, I get a callback and they offer me the job. Yay! My life in this aspect is finally coming together! I have been dying for a job for a long time and now that I have one, I'm gonna do it well. Oh, in case you were wondering, I'm going to be a ticket attendant at the zoo starting in March.

Now this has made me reconsider my con choices a little bit. I'm not sure about Anthrocon anymore for this year because the zoo requires pretty much all hands on deck for the 4th of July weekend. If I can make it, I'll probably end up missing the 4th itself, but the rest of the con could be doable. Other cons may now be possible including, of all cons, Anime Central. I also have a couple of others in mind...but that will take planning...lots of it! I'll try hard to make it to more cons this year now, too.

One quick note to mention was that I unexpectedly recieved some extra money from left over refund money that was delayed. I put in an order for an Android tablet, and I was supposed to get it today. However, I derped horribly when trying to get it and the post office closed before I could pick it up. I'll be getting it on Monday though.

Last thing....I'm in love with a lioness.
