Yes, this is quite a different approach from what is selected as GoH at different cons, and I, for one, am quite happy with that. This is going to be a stroll down memory lane, and a "historical" outlook on the roots of the Scandinavian fandom.

We can look at the size of Eurofurence#2 and compare it to furry gatherings of today, heck, we get local furmeets with more people than Eurofurence#2. But back then, this was a major meet. The furmeets I arrange "semi-annually", CabinCon, started off as a "meetup" before EF#2, where we met up before driving off together to EF#2, heading to what was, for almost all of us, our first ever furry con.

Things may have turned out quite differently had it not been for the initiatives taken by these two guys. Eurofurence now may not have been what it is.

They were really great friends, and I am sad having lost touch with them. It will be really great to see them again!

Congrats on a brave and wonderful choice of GoH! For a Swedish con, I can't think of anyone who deserves more to be!
