I couldn't help but notice, whilst going through the pictures from the last cold, white, Birmingham meet, that in practically every picture, everyone is smiling. You can't believe how absurdly happy that makes me. For weather that's supposed to be harsh, obstructive and destructive, it creates an instant game, a challenge if you will, whereby everyone participates and stops caring for a while, just to enjoy themselves. Fingers numb, ears stinging, damp clothes - none of it matters there and then. It's just happiness :3
January's meet was great for cheering me up, despite not necessarily managing to talk to many of you properly. I enjoyed good company, music and pizza. One day I'll make it to the bowling and meals, get to know people better.
I'm currently in the process of moving house, my computer is one of the very few things left here still standing. I'm also looking for a job, feeling hopeful with each application but still as of yet haven't heard back from one.
I need to get back to packing after uploading some photos of exploding snowballs, and most likely by the time I get around to updating this next, I'll be settled into our new home, preferably with an income to feed my car and adventures. Looking forward to the next,
