Queen Beatrix has rescinded her position as queen, and Prince Willem IV will ascend the Dutch throne.
I don't know why, but somehow I feel sad. She was a pillar of strength to many, and also to me.
I hope our future king will be the same pillar of strength as Beatrix was/is.
