Just trying to help break the hold the media seems to have on all of us, despite the fact that we ALL know by now how they've lied to us in very similar events only recently. Whatever they try to feed us within the next few weeks, months... ALWAYS try and find the truth, do NOT take the media's word for things. If we do, we can seriously cause ourselves and others a lot of harm. I'm not saying what Greeb here is saying is the unbridled truth, it's hard to say now with all the misinformation flying around, nor am I necessarily agreeing with him. I do agree, however, that we CAN'T trust the media to provide us information on this.
I'm not telling anyone what to believe, or even my own opinions. Just please, whatever it is you do decide, personally, don't let it be taken solely on what the media tells you. THEY LIE! we all know this.

I wish the peoples of Abkhazia and South Ossetia luck...they're free of the evil Georgians...but they're Russia's pet bitches now...and if they think the Georgians were nasty, wait til they make too many complaints to their new bosses...anyone remember Chechnya? My end point is that, while the media lies so often its hard to believe anything, the poster from YouTube is blatant Russian nationalism fan who feels that they arent being treated fairly...he's an idiot...they aren't being treated roughly enough. The real test of freedom is dissent...and Russian dissenters still have an alarming death rate. Maybe it isn't communism anymore, and maybe America and Europe are corrupt and evil too, but that doesn't make the Russian gov innocent of murder, deception and distortion. The only thing that keeps that kind of gov in check...is the threat of equal or greater force. Too bad the US is bankrupt and led by cowards now, there might have been sometrhing more than angry words a couple decades ago, but the people of eastern europe are going to have to depend on themselves for protection now that we're out of the game.
I've got some killer alternative news links if you're interested, mostly because I use them to cross reference against mainstream media, then draw my conclusions after I've read multiple sources of info. Give me a shout and I'll throw you some site links
I don't know whether I agree or disagree with you at this point, as I said. With so many different things being said right now, it's very hard for me to draw any sort of conclusion without risking it being severely marred by what's floating around right now.
