okay i'm exaggerating but some pretty big stuff is coming up tomorrow either way.
I'm doing my thesis project dissertation and if I don't fuck up I'll be wrapping up my studies and I'll be getting a Bachelor's Degree in History which will probably look pretty neat on my wall but not do much else other than that. Anyways, this naturally has me all over the place, though i'm feeling much less anxious than I thought I would at this point. I guess there's more that could be said but i'm tired of thinking about this for now so THE END

The degree is NOT useless ... but you may need to be patient to reap rewards from it.
My partner got a degree in history and it changed the way he thinks to the point where I rely on him quite a bit to help me understand things. I'm no slouch, but certain things, he's much better at.
The thing is, he didn't set out to use his history degree at work. Instead, he got a job working at the city animal shelter, and just worked his way up through the ranks from there. Now he's early 30s and making very good money... but he had to be patient, forge relationships, and so on.
So it's not useless. Its benefits are just perhaps less direct than you might wish for.
Do good.
