I enjoyed Anime Xpo in Los Angeles a lot more than San Diego,in spite of missing out on the huge amount of freebies and several favorite artists.The aisles were wide,I could get to the convention via mass transit easily,the costumes were wild and the goodies were japanese.My only peeves were the setup to get to the dealers's room(they should have had badge checkers at the entrance,not the bottom of the stairs) and no booths from japanese dvd producers like ADVision.
Amazingly enough,the same convention center hosted E3 the next weekend.Not being a member of the trade,I wouldn't have been able to attend,but I wished I could!
