If there's something i really hate is when parents put their beliefs above their progeny.
I just can't fathom how someone can consider cutting relationship with their children because they are not following their idealized view of personality and morals.
I really hope your mother isn't like that and she becomes more understanding once the "shock" of hearing about this lessens.

That aside, I hope everything goes great with the start of this new phase in your life :D. Living with your SO will be much better than living alone, that's for sure.

I'm sorry there was such a bad falling out between you and your mom. I think the reasons for your mom's reaction isn't exactly because she wants to be angry at you, but because she loves you so much and doesn't know how to handle it. Not to act like I know more about your mom that you. I've never even met her, but I bet she's a really nice person^^;;;

Well, I don't mind that you're gay. I do hope that you'll always be chaste man... I know that probably sounds like a really ballsy thing for me to say after everything you just said but I don't mean it to be. I'm no saint and I don't have a “Holier than thou complex”. It's just that... I know that you were at least once a practicing Christian and I actually care about you a lot after talking to you way back in the days of yore on DA. (I miss those days) I'm just hear to say my piece.
