It's the things we tell each other.
The promises of forever,and the lies.
We know not of what the future holds.
But just say you'll try to understand.

I may not be perfect,or what you want of me.
But love me for who I am,and everything about me.
Try not to change me too much. Though please guide me.

I'll try my best to do the same with you dear one.

Let's talk when we have to. Leave that line open for suggestions.
Please don't bottle things up. This goes for me as well.
Let's remind each other of what's important.
Remember why we were here to begin with.

We may part. Find another path in life.
But we were together once. Walking side by side.
I wish you well. Give a wave of goodbye when you go.
If fate has drawn a plan for each of us I wish us all luck.
A helping hand when life has got you down.

Remember that we are not alone on this planet.
Though we may have to search for shelter.
Or be found and helped along the way.

Life is a journey. Cherish those beside you.
Tolerate the bumpy roads,and the foul people here and there.
Let your light shine. Be a guiding force for you,and others.
Try to stay positive dear one. Try to survive.
