I'd managed to identify this picture as yours or at least something Suane-themed after spotting it on the Browse page before finding it in my notification center. I don't really follow you very closely, to be honest, but it is nice the get glimpses of your activity on this site, and see how your style changes and matures over time.

A question: do incidents of people begging you for free artwork happen often enough to warrant that warning ? It is something I've seen several artists complaining about lately, and I wonder if you've suffered from such behavior as well.

As for the favourite artists,  ophryon has always been a creator to be amazed by, adapting traditional oil painting techniques for digital artwork with terrific skill.

People don't ask me for requests very often (I'm not so good and popular!), so it's not a problem for me at all. They ask me about trades usually. I just don't want people to request free art from good artists because they don't have money/are ill/their kitty died recently.

Establishing a firm policy on the circumstances under which you can be relied upon to take people on their trade and request propositions is a good way of eliminating the awkwardness of repeatedly telling every single bothersome supplicant. In other words, you shouldn't feel bad about rejecting anyone's request when you have a disclaimer in your signature of in your profile saying that no, you do not do such and such.

The laws of popularity are highly unfair, and of their nastier aspects is whoever does manage to attain significant renown is rewarded with a lot of less than pleasant followers and the watchful eye of gossiping socialites. A lot of times one is better off staying in the shadows of obscurity. Anyway, I wish your encounters with unreasonable people would either stay small in number or pass you by entirely.

I dig and alot. mostly becouse she can draw a proper Marten. her stuff is pretty awesome. is good to, she's where I got my Icon from. this guy too.
