What's this?! You're angry that Hasbro is putting selling it's own product first and story second?!
As a Transformers fan let me say this...
Get used to it.
And no I'm not being smug.Hasbro wants to sell toys. Sure FIM makes them shit tons of money from the show but to them that's just gravy. And know what? Most people, even collectors, don't buy more then one toy. So yeah...Hasbro execs will make mandates like this, even if it's single episodes.

So yeah. Guys I hate to tell you this but FIM? It's a commercial. It's made to to push a product. Yes, Lauren Faust went into it to make a decent girlie show, yes, you CAN argue day and night about it's quality. That doesn't change the fact it was made to push a product, so please stop yelling about FIM selling out. It came pre-sold out.
I'm not really justifying it. Just saying weird stuff like this was probably creeping in (Why do you think the show has such a large extended cast and background characters?) so...yeah. Just be thankful no one has been killed off.
