Should I Make A Tutorial? ^^
Well a number of people have been noting me about this recently, regarding tutorial making.
So should I make one?^^
And if so, what kind of tutorial should I make?
...maybe a coloring one would be good...?oAo"a
What do you guys think?:)
Also, tutorial is confirmed if 30 people ask.
Right now it's 30 peeps. TUTORIAL CONFIRMED!
...it's gonna be about basic layer masking AND hair and eyes. :)
Thanks for reading and have a good day! ^^

Umm I only use the basic functions of SAI actually, too xD
Everything is done using the Ink Pen and the floodfill tool.xD
But okay, I'll take that into account!^^
I use Layer Masking.xD
(will explain in tutorial xD
Thanks for your input ^^
Can you please do a coloring tutorial?
Thanks for your input :D
Haha yes, I agree. :)
I like seeing the same character get drawn by different people too, it's like they put their own signature on it's design ^^
Well, I do have time. :)
And it would be something new from my usual drawing and stuff. :D
Thanks for your input!
(and gosh, I realize. Striker, you still don't have a profile picture? ^^a
Do you have an OC/fursona that I could doodle? ^^)
This is more for just to people to know how I color and stuff. And basic hair shading. :) I can't do sketch tutorial, as I sketch on crumpled recycled school paper and toss it after I scan in the sketch. xDDD
Okay xD ( shall not thank you but you STILL have my thanks nevertheless. xD)
Hmm, okay then. :D Note me with a ref or description of your sona you'd like to see me draw in chibi doodle form. :D
Well you're one of my top watchers haha xD Why wouldn't I want to doodle a small doodle for ya as a thanks for replying such long and thought-out comments? :D
Thanks for your input ^^
Well, I've always thought it interesting to do one. ovo
Moreover, it will be fun! >w<
Thanks for your input~
No pressure though.
Haha, no pressure taken! :)
I personally think it would be fun to do a tutorial. I'd learn something new or two, too. ^^
Thanks for your input!
also long straight hair
Don't worry, my tutorial will have hair shading as well ^^
Thanks for your input :D
(partly because I'm not sure how to make a drawing tutorial TTuTT"
Thanks for your input ^^
Then when I feel like I'm better at tutorial, then the others will come :P
(now to do some tutorial research! xD)
I'd give a thumbs-up to color and hair. Especially hair coloring, what with all the intricate flowing shadows and highlights.
While researching tutorials, there is a technique that might be worth thinking over...
While my work is nowhere near as advanced as yours, occasionally I do learn something while on a project :), and convey my discovery in the descriptions. The way I describe them is more of a stream-of-consciousness thing, in which I relate my thought process while making a piece, broken down in such a way that even the little things that most people are assumed to "just know" are explained. They're also explained in general enough terms that one doesn't need to use the same applications I do (which are extremely old)--as long as you understand your own application well enough, you'd be able to translate what I did to whatever you use (like the time I put a vanishing point on it's own layer and drew lines from it to correct the perspective of inanimate objects in the pic).
I made a habit of saying, "there is a difference between knowing your stuff, and knowing how to teach it to the uninitiated". There are some people who really know their stuff backward and forward, but have trouble passing on their knowledge, because so much of what they do has become instinctive--they don't have to think about what they do or why they do it, and oftentimes these tactics and the rationale behind them don't get conveyed to the audience. And without those random bits of info, the audience gets lost trying to implement what was taught.
But yeah, something about color would be nice. My color skill is mostly nonexistent...which is inconvenient considering I feel compelled to put colored backdrops into everything I post :)
Yeah, sadly I'm one of those people...the draw by instinct type ^^"a
Haha I personally think it's fun to see how different people work with things.ovo
Thanks for your input!^^
Haha yup, expect one up within two weeks or so ^^
Haha, I hope so. I'm not much of a good explainer myself but I'll try my best :)
But I rather think a tutorial for sketches would be better if you ask me owo
And later then a coloration one >w<
And thanks for the idea! ^^ Hmm, but problem is I sketched on crumpled old school papers and recycle them once I've scanned in the sketch. :'D
Then only line and color digitally. ^^"a
Haha yes, it reached 30 peeps so I'm definitely doing one. ovo
I hope it'll be good tho, I'm not...good at explaining things TTuTT
Yes please!! :p
I'm not too good at explaining things but I'll do my best. ^^
Thanks for your input! ^^
I'm doing a tutorial about eyes and Hair and layer masking. :D to start off ^^
Hope it'll be good tho. Fen isn't good at explaining things TTuTT
idk what it should be about though. >w<" But anything would probably be great. :D
Hmm I'm doing about basic layer masking and hair and eyes to start off with. :)
I hope it will, too! :O I'm not very good at explaining things :'D
Ah, that sounds very useful indeed! :D
Haha Neither am I! XD
