"Here the Republic will expand its Senate protocols, if we are to unite the Galaxy so that peace can run through its veins then we must open up the Senate. Open up its doors to accept the representation of the other territories. Ever since First Intergalactic War ended we have been trying to unite the Galaxy. We cannot expect a galaxy united without doing this. So as our former leaders say, Open up the doors, Unite us through peace and Traquility!"

Following right after the First Intergalactic War. The Republic was damaged, its Senate was shattering, with worlds already destroyed by the Oltanians, the Republic was thought to be on the verge of collapse. But thanks to the son of the previous Royal Family, Chancellor Darren managed to unite the Republic and bring the First Intergalactic War to a close. During his reign, he proposed the idea to open up the Senate. As a way for the Republic to recover from the horrors of the First Iintergalactic War, the idea of opening up the Senate, would not only bring the galaxy together but would also help the Republic stabilize.
On August 28th, 2799 AIW or 8 AIW, the Republic Senate amended the Republic Charter, with approval from Chancellor Darren, the Republic Senate became the Galactic Senate. The first representative that joined the newly formed Galactic Senate was from the Drailkian Territory. By the end of the next year 2800 AIW or 9 AIW. The Galactic Senate had reach connections with newly formed Aridian Territory and some democratic systems in the Oltanian Territory. Chancellor Darren became remembered for saving the Galactic Republic from near dissolution after the First Intergalactic War, and became the one that expanded the Senate into what it is. Years after the Charter was amended, the Republic recovered with its newly created Galactic Senate
The Galactic Senate now has members in the Andromeda Galaxy, the Milky Way and in the territories. According to the Section 3 Article 5, Senators both Republic and Galactic are elected or are chosen by the Planet's populace. They gather at the Senate Building located at Towers Plaza in Republic's Capital City of Shanksville. They meet almost 5 times a week. The Galactic Senate now given the ability to help make laws that can either be added to the Republic Charter or can be Laws that the galaxy can abide with, but laws must follow through the Republic's bill process as tradition.
