I was lucky I convinced my sister to go see “Wicked” a few years back when it was playing in Chicago.

Awe, that's so awesome, I'm glad you got to experience it!! I love Wicked too! I love Broadway, getting to see shows is a huge benefit of living in NYC!

There's just something really cool about seeing a live stage performance...I always wished "Beauty and the Beast on Broadway" would make a run around here when it was off-Broadway, but it was never to be. Although, up near Chicago they've done "The Lion King".

I totally agree with you, I love live performances of any kind pretty much! I saw Beauty and the Beast because my aunt wanted to see it when she visited me, it was really outstanding. I remember seeing an advertisement for it in Toronto last time I was there so maybe it will come out over by you sometime too! =) Also, they are coming out with an Aladdin musical in 2014 - I'm interested to see what that will look like!

Oooh..."Aladdin" could be really fun--and certainly very colorful!

I know right?? I'm curious to see what the genie will look like - and the cave of wonders (Who disturbs my slumber?? XD) Im gonna see it for sure when it comes out. Aladdin has a lot of good music too.

I went to go see Wicked with my mom and friend (it's Broadway Week here, 2 for the price of 1 tickets, hence all the shows) and it was outstanding. "Defying Gravity" was totally my favorite song. But I liked "For Good" a lot also. The story was fantastic. They have a deal where you can go for a raffle 2 1/2 hours before any show and you get a chance to win $30 front row seats. I might try for that sometime if any of my friends come to visit me in NYC =)

That is a beautiful song! I actually bought the anniversary CD that came out a little while back (bought the original soundtrack at the show!) and it has versions of the songs from performances in other countries! That was kinda cool...like "Popular" in Japanese and "For Good" in German (I believe).

Make sure you tell us all about "Aladdin" when they do it! I bet it will be great!
