It's unlikely to affect me personally but either way it's a step in the right direction

Just heard the news, but it doesn't seem to change much legally. It's more of a symbol of equalizing heteros and homos in yet another sphere of life, at least from my pov.

True I guess, and from a personal point of view it won't matter much to me as I'll most likely never be married. But nonetheless it's a step in the right direction :) Not to mention the fact that it's infuriated the church, which amuses me greatly.

Oh, enfuriated Church is the bonus point here :D
