(The first levels only demonstrate basic contraction of space. Later levels actually utilize actual stretching and contracting of the levels, as well as doppler shifts and time dilation.
Another game that uses the idea of lowering the speed of light as a core mechanic. I kinda wanna see some triple A title do something with this idea, would make for an amazing new mechanic platform for puzzles. Imagine the next Portal game using this with its established ideas.
Could make for some interesting combat as well.
Top speed of light suddenly becomes 3 MPH. Taking a walk becomes a psychedelic space-bending trip.

Taking a walk becomes a painful lesson in upshifting light frequencies. Everything goes black except for a faint white glow i the direction of travel, as the background cosmic microwave radiation is upshifted into visible light, and the former visual spectrum is upshifted into X-rays and Gama rays, giving you a lethal dose of radiation.
I don't even want to think what would happen if you went for a jog...
