“Our Republic since its founding has been on the goal of bringing peace and tranquility across the galaxy, but in order to do that we need to accept all species, including those that we have been at war with. We understand that our wars with the Oltanians have plagued the galaxy, but that doesn’t mean we have a sinister attitude towards them. We must treat everyone with respect so that we wont fall into a self-centered people that rather discriminate that help others.”

The Republic was thought to be where people of all species across the galaxy (ies) would come and be free and feel welcomed. However, following after the First Intergalactic War, Oltanians started to come into the Republic Territory hoping to feel welcomed and hoping to start a new, however they were given a whole new approach. Some planets that weren’t on the major trade routes discriminated the Oltanians, treating them as a lower species. This started to become a burden towards the Oltanains, including those that weren’t really involved in the whole war. This discrimination started to reach the Capital, even in certain locations of the Capital City they didn’t allow Oltanians inside.
=Asotui vs. Zegnot=
One brave Oltanian, Asotui (Auss-tooie) An Oltanian Farmer, Father of 5, from the planet Zegnot, was tired of other people attacking his family, he took the case to the Local Planetary Court, where they were in favor of the people, Asotui appealed the case to the Capital Court, and the Capital Court appealed It to the Galactic Court. This court case, later called Asotui vs. Zegnot, gain the attention of the Supreme Chancellor and Queen. Chancellor Angelis and Queen Justica heard the plea of Asotui and demanded the Senate to amend the Charter so that Oltanians can feel welcomed to the Republic. The Galactic Court favored Asotui, and decided that all Oltanians must feel welcomed in the Republic. This court case was submitted to the Senate, and with the Chancellor’s approval the Galactic Senate passed Amendment 17: The Equalization for Oltanians.
Immediately following right after the amendment’s addition, all the businesses across the respected the Galactic Court’s and Republic’s amendment and immediately took down the signs and hate propaganda on the Oltanians, soon the Oltanians that wanted to have a new experience in the Republic can live in peace.
