I've been having an odd theme recurring in my dreams lately. One night it was that my home was set up not in a square like most every home is. Instead the rooms went in a line. at the end where the laundry room was, there were stairs headed down to some storage and meeting rooms, mostly abandoned, with flooring and furniture from the 1960's and 1970's. these lead to doors leading outside into a plaza in either a university or medical center. It was like I was living in a section of a floor that no one really cared about, so I set up a kind of extended apartment there. anyone would be able to walk in, but no one really cared to
another night, it was an apartment made up of unused spaces and storage rooms in an apartment building. cement block walls in sections. some groups of rooms separated by uneven width corridors.
another time, the apartment was in one of those outdoor shopping malls that are now being built. It was in alleyways between the retail store buildings. The roof was made up of the overhangs, so it wouldn't rain 'inside', though the outdoor weather was what dictated the indoor conditions.
