The snow at the edge of my driveway is now 4' high. Add to that, the plows pushed even more against it. I got just enough snow shoveled to squeeze my truck out. Yeah, I have to go to work in this shit. >< Be safe and stay warm! ^^

I had to work Friday morning but luckily they let us go early and I don't have to go to work again until Monday so I can spend all weekend shoveling. I keep going outside to shovel a little at a time. I've made a path halfway to my car.

My aunt works for Sears and the manager stayed home and told his employees they had to stay until closing at 10pm Friday so they got together, took photos of the snow piling up outside the door and sent them to the governor's office, who then called the manager and yelled at him to send everybody home for the afternoon.

Good on them! That manager sounds like a total douche.

I'm home safe, snow is averted. Time to keep warm and snuggle Mr. Boofur. ^^
