update on a Wohofubuchip

heya fluffbutts *smiles n waves* hope ya all are doing awesome ^ ^ I'm doing alright myself heh mostly :P
So still not smoking *wags* and to be honest I have no real cravings or anything. Now there are times like on a nice warm winter day I think to myself "man what beautiful smoking weather" and I can feel the desire flare up a bit but then I quickly start reminding myself of all the reasons why I wanted to quit and it subsides heh mostly but I'm still quit so that's what matters. just shy of 3.5 months now and my longest record before was 6 months so my main realistic goals 7 months ^ ^ I like to be reasonable. permanent is obviously an end result goal but since I've never reached that in the 19 years i smoked 7 is my main goal. baby steps and all.
Art stuffs been pretty good *wags* I've been pretty happy with what I've been putting out. I still consider myself a pretty new artist with only 2-3 years of sculpting experience now but I'm quite pleased seeing my own art getting better and more refined hee makes me all waggy n stuff ^ ^ I'm not sure if I've developed my own style yet but I'm thinking something like that might be more noticeable to someone other than myself, and I mean like when you see a pic and you just KNOW who drew it :P I dunno if that even happens with sculpting lol whatevah hehe Oh also I plan to do sculptures other then plainly furry clay pieces. a good example is my "fox logic" piece *wags* I have a few other neat ideas that are Bigger and most definitely "different" that I can't wait to be able to build n share *bounces* Hope you guys are cool with seeing them as well. May not be completely furry but will most likely be animal related at least ^ ^ Kinda nice to finally let my inner artist free. Only thing that really saddens me a lil is that I've been in furry for 13 years now and i can't help but wunder where would I be now if I had started right when I joined? woulda been another decade of experience :p aww well cest le vie. Always happy to hear what you guys think of my work so please feel free to share your thoughts on whatcha see.
Work itself has been okay though sadly I've been a lil sore last few weeks *whimpers* Neck n back mostly. I operate various vehicles n machinery and mostly in reverse. So after more then a decade of this it does take its toll. heh backrubs have a more heavenly sound to them then they use to for sure *snickers* Were starting to ramp back up already and I'm not really ready for busy season yet but get no choice in the matter but least since i been here so long I can see the huge wave coming and I can buckle down and prepare for it *grins* sorry for the obscure metaphor but it is pretty accurate :p Oh on the plus side though with the busy season also comes back my 12h shifts *bounces n wags* your like wha? why this fool happy about working 12's? I know right, but gotta see it from my P.O.V. on mon-fri 8h days i work 10 days every 2 weeks, where on 12h shifts i work 7 days every 2 weeks ^ ^ 3 extra days off every 2 weeks for a total of 7 O.O I know right *wags* And the cherry on top is I get paid quite a bit more *wags* like 20% ^ ^ so like i say YAY 12's *bounces*
Social life's been kinda slow though thats kinda by my choice >.< I just haven't felt like going out to do much really. I've been more then happy to lose myself in my art for the time being. I know the cold outside plays into it as well as my quitting smoking a bit (lil irritable at times >.>) but Really I've just felt I've needed a little bit of time to myself. Whatever this is I'm working through it and I plan to get out a lot more to see peeps n do stuff by spring at the latest. I'f I need time for whatever winter seems like a good time anyway with weather n gloomyness. And no I'm not depressed or anything just wanted time to myself *nods n wags*
