General
For those who are not aware, TFF has some of the best food hands down anywhere around. Enough the con book has a hundred or so listed places and a map. If you have a car, it gets even crazier. So, I'm going to list a few really good choices people going can look forward to. I haven't been to all of them, but quite a few have good reputations:
WALKING DISTANCE:
Jaxx Steakhouse (requires dressy and a reservation but supposedly worth it)
Manny's Tex MEx
Thai Star
The Londoner
In N Out Burger (TWO OF THEM, both about a 15-20 min walk)
Flippin Out Crepes
Chamberlains Fish Market Grill (business casual, and supposedly insanely good seafood)
Magic Time Machine (not for the food, but usually great drinks and fun atmosphere)
Texas De Brazil and Fogo De Chao (same thing, all the best meat you can eat, but pricey)
Benedict's (breakfast place about a mile away with omeletts and eggs from heaven)
FOR DRIVING:
Chicken Express (fast food chicken strips, but ask for "Serendipity" which is fucking crack seasoning)
Babes All-You-Can-Eat Chicken
Hard 8 BBQ (parking is fucktardedly hard, but sooooo worth it for Texas bbq)
Kenny's Woodfired Grill (think reservations are preferred)
Flying Saucer Drafthouse
Ruth's Chris (if you wanna be dressy and have an extra special night)
Hopdoddy's (Swear to god the burger from Regular Show.... "I CAN TASTE THE HIMALAYAS!")
Liberty Burger
Dough (Neopolitan pizza and even Guy Fierri stuffed his face there)
Cavalli's Pizza (A little further, but similar quality for 1/2 the price)
Potbelly's Sandwiches (cheap tasty sammiches)
Freeb!rds World Burrito (crazy good burrito, BACON IF YOU ASK, and "death sauce")
Original Pancake House (crowded is normal, the apple pancakes and dutch baby ones you'll shank someone for)
These are just a scant few places. If you have anything in particular you're wanting, let me know and I'll try to direct you at it.
Just a warning. Hopdoddy's is a little bit of a drive, and you get there when they open or you will wait. Also the truffle fries are available only by asking and a must. Well, most places I listed are pretty well packed. Texans love their food.

FA+

In my town, one road has over 150 places with food. It's nuts.
Can I add to your list?
Theres a Pizza place called Johnny's Pizza House there on Beltline. Its in a shopping outlet.
They have really good pizza. A tad pricy but they use REAL ingredients and you pay for quality instead of quality.
I seriously love the food around TFF
