Hi guys, read any good books lately? I've read 3 new books this year so far and I started on a new one yesterday. I love going to my local library, the problem is I sometimes forget to renew them or bring them back in time and get hit with late fees! DX I'm getting better at remembering, though!
So far I've read "The Art of Being Kind" by Stefan Einhorn, "How Could You Do that?" by Dr. Laura Schlessinger, and most recently, "Get Some Headspace" by Andy Puddicombe. I've just started "The Universe in a Single Atom: The Convergence of Science and Spirituality" by His Holiness Dalai Lama, and the critics have given it an average rating of 4 out of 5 stars; so this should be an interesting read.
After that, I think I'm going to start reading something from my stack of bread-making and pastry books, then maybe take a break from non-fiction for a little while to read a romance or mystery novel.

Currently reading a several-volume-novel length fanfiction based on the Housepets Webcomic. :3 That's about it.

I haven't read fanfic in years, but I used to be a pretty voracious reader of fanfiction back in the day. I would spend hours reading tons of Kingdom Hearts and kingdom Hearts 2 yaoi. Then I got bored with it after a while when it all started to sound the same and authors eventually stopped updating and moved onto other fandoms. The last fanfic I read was back in 2011, it was a Dragon Age 2 alternate universe story that spanned almost 50 chapters and even had a sequel and a handful of spin-offs. It had the entire cast of Dragon age 2 plus a couple characters from Dragon Age: Legacy and Awakenings in a modern-day setting. And lots of really well-written gay sex scenes.
