Now, I'm not normally one for schadenfreude, but this was too good for me to pass up.
Once upon a time, there was a person on FA (not gonna namedrop). Person was an angry little user, and a spoiled brat to boot. Person has committed vandalism, assault, caused damage to their parent's house for no reason, pouted like a little 7 year-old (that last observation courtesy of a friend). And every time, person has declared himself in the right, his yes-men doing nothing to dissuade him, let his emo wrath fall upon them and they find themselves no longer able to comment.
Said person really came to my attention, however, when he took the time to write out a long-winded explanation of why anyone who didn't immediately lap up Sonic Team's crappy new Sonic games is a "fake fan," how one can't be a fan of Sonic and Mario at the same time, how Mario's the worst game franchise ever devised and promotes drug use, etc. My simple observation of how he was addressing the matter, "Sonic the Hedgehog is serious business," resulted in me getting comment-blocked from his page. I suppose maybe if I said something like, "Feel free to join the rest of us in the new millennium, where there's more than Nintendo and Sega," or something, that might be block-worthy, but wow. Brat indeed.
And now, not an hour ago, on a whim, I go over to this person's page and I discover something has happened: apparently, after getting butthurt in an argument he started, he just committed e-suicide, purging his page forever.
Now, knowing him, chances are this person isn't really doing it, they're just pretending to so he can root out the "fake fans," the ones giving him down-to-earth advice instead of just nodding eagerly to everything they say, and then block them from his page since he's so narcissistic.
If he's not just faking it, I'd say Karma's a fun thing, isn't it?
PS: Given that this person is a watcher of mine, I have one final message for him in case he bothers to look: Hello, person. Please take me off your watch-list, I do not like you.
PS: If this is against ToS, don't hesitate to say. I've no qualm with taking [most of] this down.
