There seriously is a legitimate Furry vs Brony argument going on? Like, seriously?
Firstly, congrats on needing labels to validate yourselves. Secondly, how about we just respect that they're different and praise the positives of each fandom while working to fix the negative?
God.

like...jeez, how retarded are people?
No, the MLP "brony" concept existed apart from the larger furry fandom, and can be considered a separate entity unto itself.
Possibly, but it would be on an individual basis. You're implying that kinship with animals makes a furry a furry, and that's not entirely correct or accurate.
Again, possibly, but it depends on the person.
General definition = someone with a passion/desire/affinity for anthropomorphic media, specifically animals with human characteristics. By this definition, one could call bronies "furries", but it would be wholly a misnomer by virtue of the isolated, focused fanbase centered entirely around a certain television show and its canon.
The furry fandom draws misanthropes because of its open and generally friendly/accepting nature, historically. Also, those members are the ones who usually are most vocal online, oddly enough. The less socially awkward members fly under the radar and don't get noticed as much.
The first part of that question is a matter of opinion, but from what I've seen, most bronies show no interest in anthropomorphism outside of the MLP: FiM TV show. It isn't about the ponies, it's about the show, and that's a very important paradigm. People who enjoy a certain show/movie/comic/whatever tend to hang out together as a matter of enjoying social interaction with individuals who share a common interest. Any other questions trying to psychoanalyze their emotional needs starts becoming a matter of opinion.
In a word? yes. I'm sure it goes deeper for some of them, but as a general rule, it's really that simple.
That's something that, again, depends on opinion, but here's my take as a fan of the show but not a "brony":
-Very solid animation
-Remarkably good voice acting, including vocalist work
-Positive and interesting storylines (I know less about the latter as I don't watch the show regularly)
It's a decent, if not good, cartoon in an era that praises mediocrity and laziness in animation. For people like me, who grew up in the golden age of cartoons and have always enjoyed them, a show like MLP is a step back in the right direction and something honestly enjoyable, though admittedly juvenile.
This whole "debate" boils down to people with opinions getting mad at other people for having different opinions, and not a discussion concerning facts or objective information, ergo, it's striking me as rather useless.
....right?
Remember Seuss' "The Butter Battle Book"? Same kinda thing. I rofl at the concept that there is such a thing as a "conflict" between one group who likes their cartoon horses rendered via sketch by independent artists, and another that likes their cartoon horses rendered in Flash by Hasbro-approved sources.
Though I may be overanalyzing this a little.

I've actually been looking for this picture for a while now! thanks!!!
:D
Bronies are lovers on Anthro MLPonies ( VERY SPECIFIC )
like, in a final analysis, let's just all enjoy what we want to enjoy and stop trying to label every damn thing.
