It okay. Atleast it is only once a year.

if I look at my brother and some of my colleagues,
and if I were a more cynical person, I might say it is more like a "independence day" for singles.

what they all have to listen to:
Wahh, XY got a bigger bouquet...
Wahh, I wanted this and not that ...,
Wahh, you do not love me, you just spent three monthly wages for ...
and so on

so maybe Valentine's Day is a day on which it may be even beneficial to be single

Being single on Valentine's Day is exponentially better than being in a relationship on Valentine's Day. If you're in a relationship, your wallet dies in an effort to potentially get you laid. If you're single, well, a lot of other single people will be searching and regardless of that factor, you save loads of cash.

And it isn't even a real holiday: Nobody gets a day off for it.

Valentines doesn't have to just be showing your love to the one your mated. I gladly tribute this day to all those I hold close to, close friends and family.

I care about ya Wolfy. You won't ever feel alone. Ever.

It's known as Singles Awareness Day if you don't have anybody...which it has been known as by me for almost every year since I was 13.

You may be lonely but you're hardly worthless. You're a sweet and talented person, don't let this one day of the year get you so down. You may not have anybody to call a boyfriend but I'm sure you have a number of good friends you can be thankful for, many of whom are probably lonely today too.

It's more serious than you know. Married couples get tax breaks, working couples bringing in two incomes is why it's so expensive for a single person to own anything and I think when jobs need to be cut, they cut the singles first since they have "no one to support." Trust me on this one...

A guy I work with is sitting though both the last Twilight movies tonight [In that Hetro "It might get me laid" way] as he thinks its "Romantic"

I was going to list a load of better "Romantic" movies, but thought, Nah let him suffer it

Not only is it singles awareness day but it's also my birthday, and I'm alone on both, which is why the divines gave us things like Guild wars 2 and Planetside 2 to keep our minds off it. cheers bud.

I know what you're feeling. It's hard when you have all these online friends but have nobody to share your space with for a particular night when you need it most. Well, you bring so much joy to people all over with your drawings, so at least you know you are loved and admired by all your friends here on FA. Happy Valentines, cutie. :)
