Sitting all alone, feeling like no one cared.
Feeling like I'd be alone for valentines days like this for years to come.
Until a man of great stature and importance tapped me on the shoulder.
He said "will you be my Valentine this year and for many more?"
I thought, "who am I to say 'yes' to this? I am just some random girl, why pick me from the crowds? Ive done nothing great, Ive messed up so many times....all of which he knows about..."
again he asked "will you be my Valentine? I promise you'll never be alone again"
I asked "but why?"
he replied "because I love you for you." Now normally this would get me even more...however, the look in his eyes...I knew he couldn't be lying. There was a softness I never yet seen.
still confused, but assured, I said "yes"

Three years ago I said yes....to Jesus...I said yes and then proclaimed my love and acceptance of Him in front of the people that would soon become my family. The family that has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams. Every year I am reminded that I am never alone on holidays like today...that I am not 'single' because I am loved the only perfect person out there. That He has shown an act of love that no other person will, to die a sinners death - even though He was no sinner. Yet, still He provides me with gifts of love not just on valentines day (a hallmark holiday) yet every single day. I can mess up so many times, I can seemingly forget about Him...yet He is always there to welcome me back weeping.... rejoice with me in Praise.

I know I am not perfect - and i know I dont always set the best examples. However, I know I am loved...and with that love...I love you.

So my question today, is will you join in our 'valentine forever' club? Its the BEST decision you can make.
