General
i have 3 submissions in about a week lol after several months of nothing.
I got the opportunity to go up to Inuvik NWT, just a little closer to the North Pole than most places eh? I have spent a total of 24 days up here working on all sorts of vehicles we have up here. I just finished the last job today (started about a week and abit ago, waited on parts, got offered a chance to go home friday, jimmyrigged veh to work with old parts) so im feeling pretty pumped. It was a pretty cool experience to come up here and work. A little isolated but on the plus side i didnt spend much money (till i get back and have to pay a $900+ bill for a freaking fuel pump on my truck grr, i just got it >:( ).
It looks like March is gonna be a busy month even though I have half of the month off. I get back to Edmonton (home) since being gone in January. I will likely have my shit sorted out 100% since my accident (rollover) during the holidays. I will be moving in with a buddy of mine and although I dont have my puggle living with me anymore, I will have a basset hound to huggle when i need to. Best of all though is I will be getting my fursuit Edge mailed to me, and quite possibly at the end of the month I may get to try him out at a fursuit bowling event
..... then there is April. As part of training we (vehicle techs) get farmed out to units to work on different equipment, by the looks of what i need signed off, I will likely be going to an armoured unit and although I dont have the full details, just gibs and gabs of information from a couple of sources, I may end up on a couple of field exercises for a couple of months. it sounds like 2 separate ex's so maybe just maybe I might be able to make Fur EH?... i really hope so, but thats army life for ya
until next time!

im not too sure what I can take for pictures and post, that is the reason why you dont see the pics I have taken online. armoured vehs you can look up on google images that I have worked on are:
- the ARV this thing IS a tank..... except its designed to recover tanks that dun got fkd up... i you cant pull it out with the wrecker, call in the ARV. broke track, pull the pack and swap out a final drive while on ex
- Bison MRT - its got a winch inside it and a plow blade infront. 8 wheels of floaty-ness, this thing is awesome. got to ride in one and after doing a couple long shifts, pulled a pack and put a new engine in one, resulting in getting to test drive it. there is no blind spot with driving greater than trying to back up an armoured veh.... but if you hit something you might not know about it :P
T-LAV - tracked and little, the first time I rode in this one im stickin out the crew commander hatch all smiles... my teeth musta bin black after cuz the exhaust was right in front of me blowin black smoke in my face lol. used the crane on this to pull the pack on the bison
HLVW wrecker - I am qualified to drive the transport version of this. soon to be qualified on the wrecker version. rugged tough vehicle..... but on my driver training the infantry reservist got the thing stuck in pretty much a small lake with tire sized ruts.... an idea of how deep it was.... bout waist deep.... yeah i got to be the swamper cuz i got more balls and less "give a fuck"... it was a warm day too, climbed out the hatch for a gunner and sat on the roof for a bit
if you want you can check out my facebook (brianna beeching) there are some cool pics from EME day (my regiments bday) of the leopard tank, the m777 artillery and me holding a lot of different firearms you would probly get battle-horny just seeing them up close lol
