So, we may make a surprise appearance

We're going to try to set up a duo with Jackal on guitar and Derrick on bass (Pachua is uninterested) and playing a couple of songs at Furry Fiesta.
We'll have a video of Derrick playing the drums, and we're going to do WISHS and Still Counting backed with a video drummer. A three-man band with two people. I wasn't sure if this was a good idea, or not.
So far, on Facebook, I am having a considerably tough time convincing people that it will be really neat, but try to actually envision it furries! Now, picture it in your mind and give me your honest opinions.
Keep in mind, this is not what we WANT to do, it's pretty much what we CAN do because we don't have the people. Is it a good idea, or should we just dump this crap? Honest opinions only. I am not the type to get butthurt over this kind of thing.

Short time watcher, first time caller...
Firstly, I can't believe that the moment I watched ADDF you guys started having the dramz. Not cool!
As far as playing with a video'd drummer, I think it's an interesting solution to the challenges you are facing. It would certainly have more soul than a drum machine, that's for sure.
My only suggestion is to practice to the video so that it's tight. If you can have some pre-planned interaction between you and the video drummer, it will make it feel more live and my help break the barrier.
