Tonight is the night of the vintage ball. I have collected my dress and had my hair pinned up. I am nervous as hell and hoping everything goes well. Simon is, as ever, the most wonderful gentleman a girl could ever wish for. I love him so very much.

Now I just need to fix my make-up (the 30's had weird eyebrows) and don my finery.
