Not every site is save, it's the internet for gods sake!!!!!!!! The first thing happened in 2010.

Oh you're right the admins on a site can help you. BULLSHIT, She has no proof. no notes or screen caps. she should of went to the police not to an admin.
Admins are people. who work for a site. They keep AUPs and MANAGE THE SITE NOT YOUR LIFE.

'It's the internet' fails to be a valid excuse anymore. If you are the site owner, the CREATOR of a very popular website, you need to expect people to come to you for advice. People nowadays look up to those who are in even the smallest position of power, and would rather go to them first than get the law involved right off the bat.

Neer should have complied. Not only should he have taken action against that one guy, but he also should have advised the girl to go to the authorities.

Also, Zoophiles? Need to get the fuck out of the furry community. And People who are reported for harassment/stalking need to be dealt with. It's happening ON THEIR SITE, so they need to DEAL WITH IT. They're here for a reason, not just to flaunt their 'admin' status.

I wasn't aware of what was going on either. But now that I looked into it and did some research, there's a lot of fail all over the place. There aren't many left standing pretty at the end of the day.

Yeah, I just heard Weasyl opened up to everyone after Valentines and that's why I opened an account, to try it out.

But yeah, lots of fail everywhere and not just the staff. The mod who actually handled this particular case by the way is no longer a mod. So there's insults going to some of the wrong people. But lots of people have shown their true colours and it's not pretty. I came in not attached to anyone in the situation and I can understand why people are getting upset, but some aren't thinking rationally anymore either. Some are blindly following one side or the other with unyielding dedication too. It's a lot of drama under one roof.

I think a lot of it is people sticking their nose where it doesn't belong. I really shouldn't be as upset as I am, but it's sort of like going to a restaurant that looks nice, but the service isn't up to par, yanno?
