This was sent to me via FaceBook. If anyone wondered why we were giving out Christmas cards, this is a prime example as to why.

that day, in december, when your christmas card came in the mail....meant more to me than i realized. this was the first time in 37 years my mom ignored me for christmas as she did not send me a card. she apparently decided to disown me this year for being gay. not to sound mushy or like a stalker or anything...but i wanted you to know that that 45¢ stamp made a bigger difference in someone else's life than your probably realized or intended. Thank you Wolfe...I will try to be here for you if you ever need a friend to chat with or a shoulder to cry on.

The fact that something so small could mean so much to someone. That is why I enjoy sending out Christmas cards. As long as at least one of those cards could mean something so special to someone, it was well worth it.
