So I'm not going to make it to Furry Fiesta this year. It's gonna be the first year I missed, but it would take a lot of financial stretching and things to make it possible, so I'm just giving it a miss this year.

On a more positive note, I am now officially employed by my local zoo. Today was my first full day, and although I'm basically doing the same stuff I've done before (Food Service), it seems like it's going to be really easy and a lot of fun.

It's a seasonal and part time position officially, but I don't think it'll be hard to get my foot permanently in the door if I let them know that's what I'd like.

Also met a fellow fur on my first day. It's always nice to have a friendly fur face in a new environment.

I'm going to be working quite a bit, but I'm going to be working on commissions in the evenings, and try not to get more behind than I already feel like I am.
