I have a weasyl account, have for some time, mainly just to reserve my name, but also because of the thought of 'why not?'. To me it's not leaving just because I have an account on another site, heck, I'm in the bad habit already of not visiting as regularly as I do FA, I'm just able to find more art (visual, textual and audio) to enjoy. Weasyl seems to be something in between DA and FA and I hope all the best for them.

Personally my suggestion to folks, specially artists is that more exposure is good. If you're not going to use other sites, that's fine, though I still suggest reserving your name/identity. put a few examples and a notice that newer art will be posted at whatever site you use most. For those that no longer want to use FA as their main site, that's their choice. I just wish they would not delete their stuff, just leave a pic/message that new stuff will only be posted to what ever site that they have chosen.

I've had a Weasyl for a little while now but only recently starting posting anything over there. I'll probably end up making it a mirror of my FA but I'm not going to post a lot of older stuff over there... unless I get really bored one night and decide its a good idea. ;)

Well, some have a weasyl, but don't plan on leaving FA. Some are however, which is kinda sad to see. I'm on there though, same name as I use on here.

I've had a Weasyl account for a couple months.. There are a few differences between accounts here and there, but I'm not gonna abandon FA.

I don't have an account there, and I hope I don't need to get one. As a buyer of commissions, I've heard that the site is quite hostile to people like me.

I don't want to have to subscribe to half a dozen sites just to follow my favourite artists, anyway.

I was t planing in getting one however, after reading this post and the coments, getting one to reserve my name doesn't sound like a bad idea and maybe I will like it I don't know. It's worth at least a free account right? O_o maybe the search engine will be better the. FA because no one here gets there art!
