I had trouble with an admin, and I totally could have left, even after being suspended.

Inkbunny would have done better if it hadn't been for its gaining a reputation for being "cubaffinity." Someone I know who has an account there said they filtered out the keyword "cub" and about 80% of their incoming submissions have been filtered. I think people are willing to brave a shitty interface to use Weasyl because it doesn't have any drama attached to it yet.

Everyone I'm following who set up a Weasyl account, ALL OF THEM, said they AREN'T leaving FA. So I personally don't see the point in getting a Weasyl account. People just love jumping the bandwagon.

I'm not moving to Weasyl either.

Sure FA has its flaws but what site doesn't?

Furs may be moving to avoid drama but unfortunately anywhere furries go drama eventually follows :3

Got a Weasyl, but I'm also staying on FA. I really should check my dA more often, though.

I don't know a thing about weeezul.

I suppose if I didn't have to wonder if my photos would be removed since I've had more than one removed here on FA for what I thought were really dubious reasons. I guess I'll look once it's been broken in by others.

However, between FA, DA, Flickr I think I'm at my saturation level of different places I could posts my images.

I swear people on here are just being over reactive to the recent changes, FA is still the number 1 Furry art site there is. Sure I may have a sofurry account but thats only to meet other furs. Otherwise i post pretty much anything furry to this site first.

The only time I'll ever leave FA is when Dragoneer says he's had enough of me. :p

I have a weasyl but I'm not moving out of here. Just felt like making an account there for those that did move and submit my stuff there as well.

To be fair, most people with Weasyl accounts are also staying on FA. They're making sure people know they're staying around (which gets redundant; you don't have to say you're staying just because you got an account somewhere else). Because people can have pages on more than one site. I have a DA as well.

And for people who really are leaving, does it matter? Does it really matter? If they truly felt uncomfortable about the issue, they have every right to even if you don't think they do. And if they're just following the herd, let 'em.

I know, I've set up an account there for posterity, but I agree. Once the current drama is over, Weasyl will go the way of Inkbunny and Furocity.

Sadly the truth would be once the current drama is over, there will be another drama to take over. I haven't been a fan of Inkbunny and I've never been on Furocity, but Weasyl seems like it's gonna stay around for a while. Either like a bad rash to some, or like a good relationship to others. Either way, I'm just gonna sit back and eat some popcorn whilst waiting for the next drama episode to start.

Most people have been screwed over by admins and mods on FA. Rather it be a bias admin/mod, the poor coding which leads to the website being hacked, or some other stuff rather big or small. Many people are leaving FA because they choose to. Is Weasyl a good site? I would say yes and no. Same as FA. I don't like Dragoneer because he thinks he can run this site but really has no ability to run it right and should just step down and let someone else with the knowledge and skills to run this site step in. I'm not saying that that person would be me, but I think someone else should handle running this site and fixing the majority of the problems that are warranted for concern. But I'm not gonna be leaving FA anytime soon just yet because I still enjoy being able to interact with friends and such. I do, however, have a Weasyl account as well as a SoFurry account because I get more exposure for my work. Not saying I want to be famous really. I just like the feeling that people like what I do. Kinda sounds the same but I guess that's because I don't know English that well. But really. The choice is yours, hun. Do what you want and I hope that you don't experience any negativity that makes you want to move from FA.

I don't know what all the drama is about, but I suppose that's a good thing. I'll just keep my head down. Besides, there's not much call for me here, why would I take up space someplace else?

My view of all of this was simply the timing of both Weasyl's grand opening to the public AND the drama issue.

I have set up a Weasyl account to expand business 2 days ago. I only heard about the drama this morning. I choose to stay out of it and, It's none of my business on what happened ether. To be honest Weasyl's UI is a lot more robust, solid and over all better made that FA's UI. I like the fact you can make folders and separate different art and videos and much more. Weasyl's look is a lot more professional than the look of FA.

Also, I don't plan to leave FA, that would be bad for my business.
