Learned my lesson...
So last year I had offered a free tail or ear set if somone local was willing to model a few cosplay items for me I wanted to sell. I do not have a mannequin and thought the items I wanted to sell had a better chance of being sold if properly displayed (None of these items ended up selling x_X).
Thankfully a local fur did respond, and she was close to the exact right size for all the items.
When done I asked this individual what she wanted for her compensation (ears or a tail). Well I must not of been specific in my posting, as they thought they were going to receive both. I did not have the heart to deny the individual as they had modeled more items than I had originally anticipated after I had made my posting.
What this individual wanted exceeded my skill level at the time (in regards to the tail), so I had to practice with many patterns. Finally I figured out something that would work with much help from my husband. As frustrating as this ear and tail set was, I am glad I got the chance to do it...even if it was for free x_X.
I now have a better idea as to what I need to do when I start to make curved fox tails.
I also learned not to be bothered by folks who charge $45+ for a really nice tail. There is a reason for the price folks....its called multiple panels, pinning, and lots of time. I learned this all the hard way, but still worth it.
I wish I had gotten pictures of the final product, but when I was taking photos I noticed after the fact my memory card was not in my camera. I am not about to open up the package I so neatly put together to take photos again x_X.
I am also learning more and more as I improve, not to under charge myself or my time.
oye..now off to bed with me so I can be up before 1pm and off to the post office.

FA+

that wanting great for cheap price , not caring if the creator is charging a fair and honest price.
Simple way to put things is having to chose two of these things : Fast, Cheap, Quality
so you can get : Fast and cheap, with not good quality
Cheap and Quality but will take a long time
Fast and Quality but it won't be cheap
^^that is best way to show things
