Ok, still have no idea what is going on.

Last time I was in Illinois, and last time I checked, Skrat was not a really bad guy. Yes he was a dork, yes he did some derpy things that did piss people off. I don't deny that. But he was seriously improving as a fursuit maker, and overall not a bad guy.

Would you kindly explain the hell happened, preferably in detail, not some overview?

I can't say i knew him well, and I only saw him at a convention, where everyone is supposed to be happy, right? so I'll remember him fondly, even though I know he went through some very tough times.

I tried really hard to be Skrat's friend. I met him at MFF 2011 and had him on my facebook for awhile. Then we had this really awful conversation on facebook that wound up with him saying a bunch of stupid shit in CAPS, me trying to point out how immature he was, and then him not even listening to my side of the argument and simply responding in CAPS again. He tried to say that it was because he just woke up, but come on, nobody who just wakes up could possibly be that terrible of a person.

Yep. I tried REALLY HARD to get to know the real Skrat. I tried REALLY HARD to see through everyone's negative comments about him, but you know what? Everyone was right. There is no way of getting through to him at all.

Yeah i used to talk to him a bit but i just gave up on him =/ kinda glad i did now.

Wow i love how many of you guys dont give a person a chance to do anything good from there heart and for one thing he is looking at doing this as a random act of kindness i have been talking to him for a while now and we both are on the same page i would be the first to help with what i could to make the making ofthe shirts happen so before you call it a scam think about what your saying yes i know he has had some issues with people in the past but he is trying to show that he is a good fur he just needs others to help him understand what that is ans how to do it so before you sit there and beat him down think about why he is doing it and who it may benifit cause if it was me i bet some of you would be asking question on what the money goes to and such..................................

What's the money going towards? I don't want to say this, but maybe a new fursuit...he kept complaining about how his Skrat fursuit was falling apart all the time and that he never had time to actually work on his suit because of his nighttime job as a Security Guard or Janitor or something...

for all those that think they can do no wrong look in the mirror cause yaw are pushing furs away from the fandom by being ingnorat I was working with Skrat on these item heck i for one thought it was a good idea. Do you think Harvey Milk freinds and family didnt have these issues heck all skrat was trying to do is get help with getting a remeberace shirt done for those of use that want to remeber a fur that has fallin. I had some respect for Skrat up until that Facebook butthurt and calling out a couple of furs a few weeks back... then I seen a couple of my friends where starting to get a bit irritated by his attitude. More and more butthurt journals kept on coming up on FA and I just decided to unwatch him because I was getting really fed up with the constant 'I'M LEAVING THE FANDOM' posts.

I would probably have had something to say in regards to that drama you linked me to on ED. The funniest thing is, the drama that this generated clearly occured so quickly that action to ban him probably didn't give him a chance for yet more butthurt.

I don't either, but an observation of mine seems to indicate the a furs name that starts with a sq/sk sound and ends with rat seems to spell trouble.

Another reason why my involvement in the fandom is both tangential and absolutely secret, to avoid the drama and associated bollocks.

Well, I dunno that secret is fully necessary, just avoid Squee Rat and Skrat. :)
