Okay.... As I am milfy goodness, I watched this movie when my oldest was a newborn, nursing through the show in the theater. Just about to get married. The marriage was a very long lived disaster. Having not given up on true love, I am now embarking on a deeper level of relationship with an old friend, whom I believe to be my soulmate. Funny how that term is so cliche' but as a fur, I think it is natural to say, oddly enough. He is my mate.... the mate of my soul.
I was sorting through things today and though I'd watch this movie again... for the second time. It was very touching and found that my experience resonated through the womens' lives in the film. At the end is a narrative. Very appropriate for this moment... and my love for my mate.

Finn: "I'll tell you what makes me happy about marrying Sam. I know our marriage has as good a chance of being wonderful as it does of missing the mark. However, I'm banking on our love for eachother to weigh a bit heavier on the wonderful side. As Anna says about making a quilt, you have to choose your combination carefully.
