The last time I was in a funk and depressed, I held my last contest to get out of it. After all if spending a thousand dollars doesn't make you feel better what can? TWO THOUSAND Seeing as I am on medical leave and haven't worked for four months I cannot afford to hold a contest, but I started to think: What about the contest got me out of the mud? It was the planning, the distraction of having something to think about and consider the angles on. With that in mind I am focusing on the future in a few ways.

1. Fursuit:
- Shall be of either my Turian Quiin or of my krogan Ral.
- Of the ten suit makers, four have gotten back to me. One said no can do, another needs more experience before attempting such a thing, and two have expressed an interest.  artslave and  coyoroo
- Would have working mouth, muscles, possibly armor and weapons too.

The base suit for each is around $4000, I figure that I should aim high. After all, people told me I was crazy to hold contests like I did and look at them now. They're still right.

2. The first convention: Megaplex
- Should be far enough away time wise for me to save for it. Near enough that I could drive to it and if I had a roomie, could likely stay there.
- I am so shy in real life, so I'll likely be one of those alone fat kids hobbling around on a broken body, but I want to go. They always looks so much fun.

3. A house:
- My grandfathers house appears to coming into my possession at least for the short term, I never expected such a thing yet it is still a fragile kind of thing. If my grandmother needs care we would sell it to pay for that. It is a nice thought that I could do away with most of my bills however and might even be able to charge rent on the extra room.

4. Possible new job: Disney call center
- Local place I've been trying to get a job at for most of my life. It would be amazing in many ways: sitting down, good pay, and wonderful perks (many free tickets, discounted hotels and meals.) Geek Squad has been great but if I do not get better, I will never be able to work there walking and bending so much.


I'm focusing on moving on from the worst week and am doing better, the last hurdle with be Papa's memorial service in early March. After that I should be able to continue to make strides into the future, whatever that may hold.
