aawww neeeuuuuuuu i didnt get to finish my shopping to day D:
incoming huge explanation ~
well my mum,nan.sister in-law, niece and i went to a close town near mine to go shopping a buy new clothes and some other stuff , so we get there and have to buy nappies for my niece so we do that and get few other things and then go to the first shop ( ice (is a good shop)) , have a look around pick out some stuff then my sister in-law is all like "SHIT!!" (we were all like wuuuuuuuuuut) she had lost her handbag so she goes to find her handbag , and when she went out to check the car my mum was paying for the clothes then the manager comes in and tells us to quickly get out of the shopping centre and that that it had started flooding , anyways (this is when it starts to get a little scary) my sister in-law comes back and still cant find her bag so we were like to the lady "damn it she still cant find her bag" then the lady said "they have the bag at the shop across from here" and were like omg thank god. There was security people everywhere , so we pay for our stuff and quickly get out and we didnt realise how bad it was until we got outside , the rain was heavy like tiny needles on your skin , there were puddles up to our ankles , the building was newly built but still not complete , 3 fire trucks were outside the building , water had gotten into the walls and onto some electrical wires and caused a fire so we were lucky we got out .
woah time for a break ...*takes a deap breath* ...so ..you like hot chips?i like hot chips.

so after that we had lunch and went home , just crossing the road made me soaking wet :/ well thats always fun......

Worst part was it was night time :S
Me and my friend had left our parents at the main stage to go to the Red Frog Tent to do some dancing and thats when water starting running into the tent everywhere and people were yelling out orders to leave the tent immediately because the power was going out. And there were a lot of people there too, really crowded. It's a big event. So yeah. the power was going out and then all the tents started to collapse on everyone, and these are huuggeee circus type tents in weird shapes that were not so easy to get out of once collapsed. My friend was freaking out because the water was already almost to our knees in some areas and she couldn't find her little brother.. every tent we ran to to find shelter got people yelling that the place had to be evacuated quick and the water just kept rising and rising..
It was scary. It was dark, like almost 8pm dark because that was the time.. and there was no power to see anything. people were everywhere screaming while the tents were collapsing and the water just kept on coming in.
My dad had parked our car on the top of a hill so after we escaped the falling tents and were outside the fences of the festival we ran (as much as we could in the deep water) all the way up to were it was parked and hopped inside because I have a spare key for it. We just sat there and shivered. The water level was so heavy it felt like the car was going to wash away. We were completely soaked. My friend tried to call her parents for over an hour before anyone picked up. When they did finally pick up They came straight over to where we told them my dads car was and took her and myself back to there place. All her family was safe which was good.
I waited at her house till 10 until my father finally called. He had been in the mosh pit still excited to listen to his fave bands with all that water.. LOL so yeah.
NIGHTMARE MUCH. I finally got to go to bed at 12 that night and I haven't been to Easterfest since XD

floods are ok sometimes because then i dont have to go to school lol
over here we don't get much dangerous weather... in England and stuff they get floods and whatever but I've never experienced anything more than heavy snow (which is awesome) in NI xD
Not so awesome when it's freezing and traffic, but VERY good when I'm of school c:
