My scanner is very old, it's app. 8 years old or even more. My main trouble with it - all images are with colored stripes. So it takes a long time to bring these images to "ready to upload" state. I don't like the results of scanning very much, so I'm thinking about buying a better scanner for a long time. Also, I want to buy a laser printer, because mine is bubblejet, it's very slow and very noisy.

Which scanner do you consider as a good/almost professional one? Do you have examples of scanned images?
What do you think - to buy scanner and printer separately or to buy multifunctional device?
