Update on things

Hello all.
My recruit period ended last Friday which means I guess I am a soldier now. We also got to know how long we would serve and what we would be doing. I got the 6 month service as I wanted. It's not exactly the kind of job I want to be doing, but it lasts for that 6 months so it's over quickly. When I say 6 months, that means that the 2 months I have already spent there is included. And since the service time was cut by 2 weeks on every field, this means that after next week of being sick some more, I got 3 months and 2 weeks left of that crap.
That being said, I am still or again, sick. There was like 5 days after the pneumonia anti-biotics had worked that I felt like a healthy human being again. Then I get another fucking flu. Fuck me again. It has been running for a week now, since I could not rest well in the army. In fact, I think I was recovering but now I am more sick because I didn't get any rest. To top that, since I was sick and didn't move or run much for the past month, I had loads of running and physical stuff last week that my ankles decided that they would break and now I got a repetitive strain injury in both of my ankles. Right ankle being the worst.
So, despite me wanting to do good and get in good shape, my asshole of a body refuses to co-operate. This is sort of bad because I was chosen to the scout troops. This is a lot of forest camping, having full gear and running around in there. So naturally you need a good shape, which I do not yet have thanks to my forced inactivity. So I can only hope I can get to exercise soon and my body doesn't break any further.
So what do scouts do? Basically I an specialize in a few positions. There is a basic rifle man, leader, assistant leader, machine gunner, light and heavy AT guy, marksman and I guess some other stuff. Since I am a pretty good shot, I will probably want to go marksman with a sniper rifle. The AT guys carry such heavy loads that I don't think my body type fits (specially with me being left weak by the sickness and all)
So yeah, that's my situation now. Not too much to cheer but at least it's 3 months and 3 weeks left rather than 10 months. Again, sorry for the lack of art. This weekend I would have had loads of time, but I had a friend stay over and I couldn't draw anything. I really want to put up more stuff but there just is no damn time or I feel too tired after a hard week.
That's all for now, I hope you are all doing well. Heading back to base in a few hours myself.
Regards, Ferobird.
