Long story short, I've been pretty busy the last month or so and haven't been giving Ashley the time she deserves. Seeing me take out vacation for the con and seemingly not enjoying it only helped to stir some emotions she had been holding back and it all came to fruition Saturday night. Ultimately I decided it was best if I spent the rest of my night with her and Sunday morning neither of us were in the best of moods so I decided to just hit the road and head on home. It was a awkwardly silent drive home and I ultimately succeeded in shoving my foot in my mouth and firmly jamming my head up my ass that evening... what can I say, I've got talent.

The good news is that was our first fight in just shy of the first full year of our relationship so I'd say we're doing pretty well. It was touch and go last night, but I think we've worked everything out today and are both willing to just turn the page and move on.

Ultimately I wish I would have had more of a chance to hang out with you all as I'm sure we'd have a blast as always, but that just wasn't going to be the case. Here's to next time!
