Dashchund trouble/Dog Advice

I could really use some advice here. (this is going to be long, sorry) Today my husband suggested re-homing our Dachshund. Neither of us are people who will easily make that suggestion, as far as we are concerned dogs should be a lifetime commitment, but we are having some big issues with her, and most of them center around her and Saoirse. Clover is a typical gluttonous Dachshund, and has always been good at sniping food from the table, but it was only after you had finished eating and most of the time were well away from the food. It's always been easy to keep her from doing it, just don't leave the plate where she could get to it. With a toddler though, that's not easy. Ever since Saoirse started eating solids, Clover has become more and more ballzy about taking food from her. It's gotten to the point where she has actually taken food from Saorise's hands! She's never nipped/bitten Saorise doing it, she always grabs what's sticking out away from her fingers, but I feel that’s pretty much the next step she could take.
Saoirse has also gotten more handsy with the dogs. Clover has always been able to stay one level ahead of Saoirse's reach. (Example: Baby on the floor, dog on couch, baby stands up, dog moves to back of couch.) But now that Saoirse can climb, Clover has no where to retreat to. As I said before, she has never nipped at/bitten the baby but I'm afraid it's coming, and dread it happening. Otherwise, Clover is a fantastic dog! She's sweet, snugly, sleeps under the blankets, is crate trained.
I've always said I was on the grounds that if the dog and the child seriously can't get along and it was aggressive behavior, that would be my only reason to re-home. Lately I feel like all we are doing is yelling at her for bad behavior. Saoirse is starting to pick up on that too, and I've seen her yell at and swat at Clover a few times because she sees us doing it and I do NOT want her to think that is okay behavior! Our older dog Biskits is starting to pick up some of her bad habits too and is trying to take food off the table and today tried to take food from me that I was trying to give to Saoirse, and I don't want that either.
My biggest issue with re-homing her though (other than me missing her terribly) is her special need. She is allergic to vaccinations, her face swells up like a balloon! She has to get each shot separately, and has to be fed benadryl every 4 hours for 2-3 days after her shot. I'm afraid no one is going to want her because of this, or that they wont do the shots the way they are needed. (get them all at once, leaver her home with out super vision after her shots, etc.) and it's going to end up hurting her. Thinking about it stresses me out so bad, and I just don't know what to do! I feel like it's a losing situation either way. We'll have had her for 4 years this May, and she has been the best dog up until Saoirse hit toddler-hood.

Just curious, I've met plenty of dogs (mostly daschunds, Schnausers, Schipperkees and Pugs) that have vaccine reactions, usually we either premed them ourselves with a Benadryl injection or tell their owners to give them a bennadryl 30 minutes before leaving for the vet, did you find out what she's allergic to? 90% of ours are the lepto in the DHLPP (which on now more sever cases we leave out the lepto), though some are Rabies as well. Does she need benadryl for days after the vaccine as well? (curious because ours don't)
hope any of this helps :/
As far as we can tell it's ALL vaccines she is allergic to. Rabbies giving her to worst reaction, but all will make her swell up. One year we gave her only one shot per visit, and the visits were 3 weeks apart, and each one she reacted to. Because of this we leave out lepto like you said, and only give her the mandatory rabies and distemper. She gets an injection before her shots, and she needs benadryl every 4 hours for at least 2 days after rabies and 1 after distemper, though the vet prefers I go for 48-72 hours after each shot to be safe.
About the vaccines, that is a little odd. I honestly wouldn't stress over it that bad, since most people who want a dog (especially ones who like the cute little lap dogs) will go to the end of the world to take care of them, and Bennadryl isn't too overwhelming.
Clover was sold to us as a mini, but she's out of the technical mini size range. She's 12-13lbs and super lean, so she is much taller/longer than most minis, but she's not yet a standard. She's just this wonky in between size. IDK if her crate will fit in the hallway, but I can try it. I really like the leash idea though, I'll have to try that, thanks!
