Well, I got notice on Monday, I'm being laid-off at work at the end of March. I didn't love the job, but its a really bad time for me to be losing my job. Not sure what I'm going to do next, I'm exploring my options. I would really love to get some grants from the Ontario government and go back to school for a skilled trade, but I think thats a long shot. Especially since I have no prospective apprenticeship.
So in the meantime, I'd like to toss open my doors for commissions sooner then I expected. I wanted to do this later this year but If I could score a few things now that would go a long way to helping me if I can't find work right away. I'm going to charge prices I think are relative to my skill level and more then competitive. I'm not looking to make this my full time job ( that would be awesome, but most likely not happening). Heck I don't even have a company name.
Pricing is as follows:
Fullsuits starting at $900* (static jaw, foam based head, 3 fur colours, simple markings)
Partials starting at $500* (static jaw, foam based head, 3 fur colours, head, hand paws, feet paws and tail)
Feet Paws Start at $90 (I make feet paws without shoes, but other styles are possible)
Hand paws start at $25 (1-2 colours)
Tails start at $30 (Small tail with up to 2 colours), Large tails like http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9479228/ go for about $100.
Bodysuits starting at $200 (3 colours, plantigrade, simple markings)
*half payment, to a maximum of $500 required upfront as a deposit
More complex items will demand higher prices as I will need more materials/time to complete. I have no queue at the moment, so if you commission me first you could have your stuff by the end of March or April!
I'm also learning how to make other kinds of props which I'll have examples of soon since I'm making them for FE.

Toronto kinda sucks like that... until then I have my income from Ontario Works to keep me from becoming homeless...
Good luck! If I had the cash to spare I'd buy a suit from you for sure.. matter of fact I may commission you sometime soon for a suit for my boyfriend..
