So, while I should be solving for thevenin equivalents, I've opted to take a very irresponsible break and talk to you guys!
I realize my past journals have been rather dry, so I figured I'd talk about something we ALL love: Pokemon.
I want you to tell me your top six favorite pokemon, and why you love them.
Only six, you MUST pick six
Here are mine:
1. Mr. Mime - He has been my favorite since I was 8 years old playing on a 1st gen gameboy; I always loved the humanoid pokemon, and Mr. Mime was so exquisitely bizarre I instantly fell in love. (I have Mr. Mime and Jynx toys imported from Japan, compliments of muffinpants)
2. Slaking - He's like a Snorlax, but twice as repulsive! I LOVE slaking, and have a level 100 one I regularly destroy people with. Yes it was a HUGE pain in the ass getting him to 100.
3. Tangela - I've loved tangela ever since I found it for the first time south of pallet town. It's blue and creepy, what's not to love?
4. Jynx - Another 1st gen fav; Jynx horrified me, and it was for that reason I kept her with me at all times. She was so hideous, I loved pulling her out in the middle of battles ( to the dismay of my Jynx hating friends)
5. Porygon - I remember buying the coins to get porygon, that took fucking forever, it was so worth it though. Porygon awesome first because he's a normal type (I love normal and ice tpes), he is shaped incredibly cool (Porygon 2 was cool two, but you can't beat the original) and he's pink and blue, which is beautiful.
6. Forretress - This was a tough one, I was torn between this, shuckle, and probopass, but forretress is so cool looking I couldn't resist.

1. Sandslash. Ever since day one. Pangolins are awesome and Sandslash is no exception. Had one on my team way back in Blue and he was my all-star; if Earthquake didn't kill it, Slash would. Loved him to pieces.
2. Joltik and evolutions. Jumping spiders are awesome and Joltik is no exception. Plus, come on, the damn thing is adorable.
3. Nidoking. Now I'm not normally for big, burly, stompy types, so I'm not sure why Nidoking is such an exception. Really I love the entire Nidoran line on both the male and female sides but Nidoking is especially cool to me. But, again, I had one and loved it, so what more can I say?
4. Raichu. Easily the cutest pokemon, hands down. Not sure what else I can say about it other than the fact that it's odd how I adore Raichu but don't care for Pikachu or Pichu at all...
5. Blastoise. IT HAS CANNONS. CANNONS. HOW IS THAT NOT AWESOME IN AND OF ITSELF. This was another one that carried my team back in the day.
6. Hitmontop. Mostly because I have the mental picture of slapping down some cardboard and letting it style all up over our enemies.
I had to look up joltik; I'm pleased to see we finally have another arachnid! Poor spinarak was getting lonely (I don't count drapion)
Nidoking: I couldn't agree more here, though I'm not normally one for the big burly types nidoking and queen have this anthro armadillo thing going on which is just undeniably badass.
Raichu: Meh, it's cute, never been a fan of anything in the pikachu line
Blastoise is naturally amazing, but mainly because he's an awesome dad.
Hitmontop is fantastic but I was always a hitmonchan person, loved those punching gloves!
High electric/ground presence in your faves, I love seeing what types people are drawn to
You know, now that you mention the armadillo part that's probably why I love the Nidoroyalty so much. I love armor-plated mammals, so they fit nicely into that moiety.
Miltank: Because...Mooo!
Arbok: Because snakes are cool. :3
Lapras: Just keep swimming...Just keep swimming...
Mewtwo: I know it's cliché, but he's cool. And he has two necks.
Unown: It's like playing with alphabet spaghetti. How many rude words can you spell?
Starmie: I've always wondered what the one behind the front one is doing...how does it stay attached!? O_O
(Ok, I made most of that up. I don't really have any favourite pokemon. But I will say that most of good TF fodder. :3)
