What are you looking to accomplish? What's your role?

A bard makes everyone else better, and is only so often cool on his own. In a way, a bard is a master manipulator in combat, because he chooses what bonuses to give with his benificence.

You need other players who can handle adding your bonuses on the fly, and you need to make little table tents with all your bonuses as you go along to toss out on the board. :)
