I am NOT leaving Fur Affinity!
I'm kind of surprised that I've been asked this by anyone, but I guess my last journal about me having made a Weasyl account along with the scandal that seems to be rocking FA at the moment had some people unsure. So, here's my official stance on the subject:
No, I'm NOT leaving Fur Affinity.
The only art website I have actively vacated (meaning, I purposely abandoned it rather than just forgot about it) is Deviant Art. The only reason I did that is because the site is riddled with viruses, one of which ended up infecting my computer, even with ad blockers and script blockers in place. Other than that, I've watched drama come and go on a million different art sites, and I've never cared much.
I try not to judge the administrators of websites like this too strictly. I know they have hard jobs. I know how difficult it can be to be a leader. I've said as much in the past, several times. The thing about it is, even if I don't like how they're running the show, they're the ones running the show. Since I know they're getting criticized up and down enough already, I don't see any reason to throw in any more of it. I think they get the point, and besides, this place is free. I don't have to pay a dime to come here. Donations are appreciated, I'm sure, but I'm not even harassed for them like other publicly accessible things often will do. Because it's free, I figure it's just like they always say: You get what you pay for.
So, anyhow, that's my take on it. I'm still here, and I will likely continue to hang around here until such a time as the site goes down for good or it's so difficult to use that it isn't worth the time anymore.

I'm still leery of internet and that's why I don't do a lot of social media/gallery sites (this is my very first one), but I found friends here...I know several of my friends are leaving the site though, because of what happened. Many are staying and I'm glad, for that.
Thanks for staying too!
I've met lots of cool people here, too. Like you! I don't wanna leave my buddies!
I look forward to seeing more art of yours...you were one of the first few people I “met” here and your art is still gorgeous. ♪

1: look for the actual story
2: bunker down and wait to see what happens.
I have yet to establish a presence on weasyl. The current situation is actually a [i]disincentive[/] to do so for reasons you've just outlined. That and many of those who have gone there are complaining of the scant traffic.
