As i sit here, patching FFXIV and listening to FFXI i think
"How did i get into the position of doing IT work for Home depot and why are there some people out on the HD sales floor that don't have a lick of common sense to know what they are doing."
i mean of course i run into the individual that knows what they are doing, or i run into the person that is taking a class on network Admin or computer science and they show that rare spark that they can do this stuff that I'm telling them with their eyes closed in the middle of New York City rush hour traffic, but i digress, because some of these people are total bleeding idiots, and that's with a capitol I.
Not the normal idiot you would find on the road that's trying to make a U-Turn on a 2 lane road in a shopping plaza, no i mean a TRUE idiot. the kind that stands there at a green light and instead of paying attention to the road, they have their face buried in their cell phone either talking or texting away the newest goblet of gossip that they just gleamed from their BFF.
-sighs- idiots ... flaming idiots... all of them
oh and i now own 31 PS3 games. im proud of my collection, and mind you that's not counting the digital games i have, thats just the disk based ones.

One of the lessons that I have learned going through life is that about 90% of all jobs in the world are based around dealing with not only other people's crap, but their stupidity. IE keeping them out of trouble, and pulling them out when they manage to get themselves into trouble.

This is what I do for a living myself. I wouldn't mind working for the Home Depot tho. Any openings?

well i don't directly work in one of the big orange stores, i work in one of their IT help centers and as far as i know theres only 3 of them that handle all of the HD's

Are you directly employed by HD or is your company an outside contractor?
